We have a range of tables available for viewing, but unfortunately, don’t have the capacity to have all our models all the time. If you are interested in viewing a particular table, we suggest you call before coming in so we can let you know what it is we have available at the time.

Our tables are locally made by master craftsmen using high quality components. The difference between our table and others you may see, could include:

  • English cloth made from Australian Merino Wool
  • Sustainably grown Tasmanian Oak timber used as standard (other than the Regency and the Victorian models that have pine legs and frame), as well as other great Australian hardwood timbers
  • Choice of finishes (satin, gloss and semi-gloss) and stain colours
  • Colour match service available to compliment your existing décor
  • Quality Brazilian slate
  • Locally made, built in our workshop at our Yeerongpilly showroom
  • Our delivery service is not outsourced, we deliver and install all our own tables. Quite often, the person you buy the table from will be there to deliver and install it
We offer a 10 year warranty on the construction and slate.

Slate

All slate used for our tables is one piece slate.

We use Brazilian slate.

Cloth

Cloth life will depend on how much the table is played and how well the cloth is looked after when not being played on. Under most circumstances, you should get 10 – 15 years out of your cloth before it will need replacing.

Colour fading will occur as the cloth ages due to ultraviolet light, so it is advisable to avoid sitting tables near natural daylight, especially direct sunlight. Ideally use a table cover to protect the cloth when not in use and to help preserve the brightness of the cloth colour.

Hainsworth cloths have a special anti-fade dye finish and has proven to keep its colour longer than any other cloth on the market.

They don’t as standard. The Hainsworth cloth is made from Australian Merino Wool, and does not like getting wet. While the table can be outdoors, it needs to be undercover and the cloth should be covered with a suitable good quality cover, which we have available for sale.

There is waterproof cloth on the market and we can supply that if necessary, but the feedback we have received is that the quality of that cloth will affect play.

Yes, we offer a customised cloth that can be printed with any logo or image supplied to us, at an extra charge.

Please note, this is not printed onto the Hainsworth Smart Range cloth.

Timber

Yes, we use Tasmanian Oak as standard, but we are able to offer other timbers as an upgrade. Timbers we have used in the past, and have access to include – New Guinean Rosewood, Blackbutt, Spotted Gum, American Oak, Blackwood, Iron Bark, Jarrah. If you have a timber in mind, please discuss with one of our staff.

We provide a range of timber stains, and also offer a colour match service to compliment your existing décor.

All our tables are made from Tasmanian Oak as standard, other than the Regency and the Victorian models that have pine legs and frame with Tasmanian Oak rails.

Lead Time, Payment & Delivery

Our current lead time is 8 – 10 weeks from receipt of your deposit.

Our showroom tables are available for sale as showroom specials. Please keep checking our website as they are updated frequently.

We ask for 40% deposit when placing your order. The balance is due when your table is ready.

Delivery cost will vary, depending on a range of factors including your location and if there are any steps or stairs we need to negotiate to get your table into place.

Yes it does. Our fully trained staff will level the table and ensure it is ready to play on before they leave.
While stairs may make the job a little more difficult, in most cases we can find a way to get the table into place. We have worked with cranes to lift tables into Penthouses where there is no other way to get the table into place. We are happy to work out the best option for you, but do need to know about any steps or stairs and if there are stairs, any turns or landings we will encounter. Being slate, our tables are heavy and can’t always be lifted over balconies etc.

Second Hand Tables

We do, but are a little selective about the second hand tables we purchase. If you have a table you would like to sell, please send a few photos through to info@billiardblitz.com.au. We will review and be in touch with you to discuss options.
We do have second hand tables available from time to time. They tend to sell quite quickly, often before we even have the opportunity to list them on the website.
